Jackson Sousa is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Jackson’s practice focuses on treating couples, families, sexual addiction and other process addiction disorder in a safe, respectful, and confidential setting. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University and obtained a masters degree from the University of Santa Monica where he was honored as Student of the Year. In addition to his private practice, Jackson teaches classes on psychopharmacology, process addictions, and sexuality and gender at Santa Barbara City College and California Lutheran University’s Graduate Psychology Department. Jackson holds a California Alcohol and Drug Educator certificate and is a certified sexual addiction therapist and certified sexual addiction therapist supervisor (CSAT-S). Jackson also is an AASECT certified sex therapist (CST), and works with issues such as sexual dysfunctions, gender identity confusion, and a variety of sexually-related problems. In his free time, Jackson enjoys spending time with his wife and son and practicing martial arts.


Darilyn Shano, M.S., MFT Intern #82739

Darilyn Shano is a registered Marital and Family Therapist Intern currently completing her hours for licensure. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands and Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University as a member of The International Honors Society in Psychology. During her graduate studies, Darilyn worked at CLU’s Community Counseling Center for one year. With a specialization in Attachment Theory, focusing on the bond formed in early childhood relationships that directly correlate to relationships in adolescents and adulthood. While at CLU, Darilyn worked with substance abuse & dependence, sex addiction, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety, major depression disorder, parent-child relationship problems and partner relational problems. As a sex positive and kink friendly therapist, Darilyn works with individuals and couples from the LGBTQ and BDSM communities. She looks forward to meeting and getting to know you, assisting in bettering the quality of life, and helping in communicating the understanding of life events and thought processes.


Cameron Reis, M.S., MFT Intern #96516

Cameron Reis is a registered Marital and Family Therapist Intern currently completing his hours for licensure. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University of Northridge and his Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University. During his graduate studies, Cameron worked with at risk youth within the school system and at CLU’s Community Counseling Center. Cameron has worked with couples, families, children and adults. Cameron has experience working with substance abuse, sexual abuse, trauma, post-traumatic stress, sexuality issues, LGBTQ, depression, anxiety, marital discord, reunification, and children of divorce. At CLU, Cameron specialized in Trauma, which focuses on how threatening events and abusive upbringings affect memory, the mind, the body, personality, and relationships. Cameron enjoys helping clients feel understood, creating meaning from their life experiences, and developing practical skills to improve their quality of life.


Lynne Tunick, M.S., MFT Intern #83411

Lynne Tunick

Lynne Tunick is a registered Marital and Family Therapist Intern currently completing her hours for licensure.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California and her Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University.  During her graduate studies, Lynne worked at CLU’s Community Counseling Center, where she worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with depression, bipolar, anxiety, eating disorder, substance abuse & dependence, trauma, abuse, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She works with clients from an attachment theory, which focuses on bonds formed in early childhood that affect future interactions and relationships.  With an interest in working with clients with eating disorder, in addition to other forms of addiction, Lynne also has experience teaching Dialetical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills.  When applied, these skills can help clients manage addiction and impulse behaviors through mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation. She truly enjoys working from an empathic and compassionate therapeutic approach with clients managing their personal life challenges.  Lynne looks forward to meeting you and building a positive therapeutic relationship.
